Highly Recommended: LMF Feeds

I just wanted to take a minute to let you all know about my favorite feed- LMF! I have been using LMF for over 16 years now and have seen a drastic improvement in most horses. I've seen horses with poor coats and hooves make a complete turnaround, and have noticed improvements in horses energy levels and body condition. And I have NEVER (knock on wood) had a horse tie up after a workout (but it must be noted that I also cool them out over a good period of time).

One key benefit of LMF is that it comes in many varieties (Development, Gentle Balance, Show Time, etc) with specific benefits for diferent horses. And most varieties have an "A" (for Alfalfa hay) and a "G" (for Grass hay) formulation. They also offer "Super Suplement" for horses that just need a handful of grain a day to get all of the necessary vitamins and minerals- and a bag lasts 50 days!

I will note that LMF is more expensive than other feeds, however you get much more than what you pay for in my experience. Locally you can buy it at Strotz Country Feed in Arlington.

Please check out thier website at http://www.lmffeeds.com/ for more information!

Horses out of Water- HELP!

I just spoke with Katie at Second Chance Ranch- there is a mare with colic and the Vet is on the way. They are pumping water from the pond right now and the pond water is clear, but  it is unknown if there may be giardia from the birds- which would mean 40 sick horses :(
Please pray that this doesn't get worse.
Katie and will try for emergency funding but it doesn't look good. DONATIONS are needed ASAP, as it looks like she will need $3k by tomorrow for the most immediate fix.
PS- If there ever was a situation needing immediate attention, it is this one! I have already donated myself, so am not asking and not doing.

Save these Horses!!!

Hello All,

I could spend an eternity writing about how the poor economy is affecting us here in Washington. I'll leave that to someone else, and get right to how you can help. There are numerous horse rescues that need donations, a short list can be found here: http://www.washingtonthoroughbred.com/IndAddrs/Rescue.htm

I personally recommend Second Chance Ranch, as Katie is very knowledgeable and has always steered me in the right direction. I also have a 14.1 hand Morab, Willy, available for adoption through SCR.

If you want to help IMMEDIATELY there are horses needing rescued by FEB. 16th! Please contact Katie at info@secondchanceranch.org to help them ASAP!

I hope you have had a chance to hug your horse this Valentines Day!

Lord bless,

April
